Academy of Management Scholar Elizabeth “Bess” Rouse is an associate professor at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management and won its Teaching Star award in 2021. Previously, she was an assistant professor of organizational behavior at Boston University. Her research focuses on collaboration at work, creative processes, and how creative workers psychologically attach to and detach from the products they make. Her articles have been published in various outlets, including Academy of Management Journal and Academy of Management Review.
Rouse has been an associate editor of Academy of Management Journal (2022-present), editorial board member of Academy of Management Journal (2017-2022), and editorial board member of Academy of Management Discoveries (2017-present).
At Haslam, Pollock teaches an undergraduate elective on managing startups and doctoral seminars on organization theory and academic writing. He has previously taught courses on strategy at the undergraduate, MBA, executive MBA, and doctoral levels, and on power and influence in full-time and executive MBA programs.
