Quinetta Roberson

A former president of the Academy of Management, AOM Scholar Quinetta Roberson of Michigan State University is one of the world’s foremost thought leaders on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). She was previously at Villanova University and Cornell University. She has been a visiting scholar at universities on six continents and has more than 20 years of experience in teaching courses, facilitating workshops, and advising organizations on DEI globally.
 
Roberson has published more than 40 book chapters and scholarly journal articles, including Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, and Academy of Management Perspectives, and is a two-time TEDx speaker.

Her research and consulting work is informed by her work experiences as a financial analyst and small-business consultant before earning her doctorate degree from the University of Maryland. She has undergraduate and graduate degrees in finance.

At Haslam, Pollock teaches an undergraduate elective on managing startups and doctoral seminars on organization theory and academic writing. He has previously taught courses on strategy at the undergraduate, MBA, executive MBA, and doctoral levels, and on power and influence in full-time and executive MBA programs.
